 India Association of Greater Charleston (IAGC) was incorporated in 1984, when the residents
of Indian origin in Charleston felt the need to organize a community of people who were interested in the culture and heritage
of India and share the profound beauty of this culture with others. IAGC is a nonprofit, non-political and non-religious organization,
and its membership is open to anyone interested in India. To become a member or for more information, please direct inquiries
to iagc.vj@gmail.com.. Membership dues are $50 - family, $25 - single, $15 -
student, $500 - lifetime. The membership period extends from January 1st to December 31st. Make checks payable to IAGC.

Goals The Goals of IAGC include: 1. Participating in various cultural events to
disseminate information about the rich culture of India; 2. To serve as a resource and repository of
information about India; 3. To increase the understanding of Indian culture, art, and heritage among
the community; 4. To provide a platform for people interested in India to come together in a social
setting; and, 5. CERTAINLY,

Welcome
to our new IAGC Website. I am proud to be
a member of IAGC and honored to be the President. It‘s a volunteer work but very fulfilling to plan
events with colleagues, learning something new everyday. Everyone is very helpful, courteous, and
kind. Become a member of IAGC today and find yourself
the truth. Soon, you will be participating in enthusiastic, friendly Indian community with plenty of fun.
I look forward to meeting you in person and answer your questions if any. It’s
time now. Welcome to IAGC. We had a busy year. I thank all of you for making this a very happy and wonderful year for me and Shaila.
